Step by Step approach

This division of a huge French group (about 145 000 employees) acquired a company in Germany in October 2006. The challenge was to implement Dynamics Nav in less than 3 months in order to go live on 1st Jan 2007.

After this successful implementation the division decided to open a branch in Russia. Dynamics Nav was a potential solution and a Core model was built with the common requirements of the division such as an interface with the in-house software for their specific business.

Then Belgium and Luxembourg requested to renew their business solution. After the roll out in these countries it became obvious in 2008 that Dynamics Nav will be a corporate solution for small & medium subsidiaries.

Shared Service Center

This small & medium-sized enterprise with about 500 employees decided in the summer of 2008 to create a Shared Service center for the accountancy with a single centralized software for 23 countries. Furthermore the challenge was to build a datawarnehouse based on SQL Services technology for the monthly reporting. The last matter was to implement Dynamics Nav in less than 4 months to achieve the Go live date in Jan 2009.

Homogenization

This division of a huge French group (about 120 000 employees) is the oldest reference for international project in France. Dynamics Nav has been implemented in version 3 and 4 for about 15 countries since 2002. The latest project in 2009 was to homogenize the solution:

• Move the solutions of countries with a local database to a unique central infrastructure
• Make uniform Dynamics Nav & Core Model versions meaning to upgrade oldest version in countries
• Set up a global charts of accounts to ease & reduce the time for monthly financial reporting
• Build a central datawarehouse and automatize the data transfer from Dynamics Nav

Corporate solution for start-up business

This division of a huge group (about 280 000 employes) decided in 2007 to implement Dynamics Nav for a start-up business in Turkey for affordable price and a timeframe of one month. After this successful implementation the solution was deployed for new start-up business in Romania, India, Greece, etc.

The upcoming project is the upgrade to Dynamics Nav 2009 technology with the Role Tailored client. Now 10 countries rely on Dynamics Nav with an oldest version and the upgrade pilot should Go Live early in 2011.

Industrial roll out

This French group with over 80 entities and 16 000 employees had a decentralized organization with local decisions for IT software. The executive management decided to move from a patchwork to a network of entities with common processes. Implementing a unique business solution was a key point for this global project to achieve the target organization.

Based the Belgium & Netherland Dynamics Nav experience the group created a kind of vertical solutions for all their subsidiaries on the latest version of Dynamics Nav. This new release was implemented in the 6 pilots in 6 different countries. Then over 30 consultants deployed the solution in 14 countries.
